Olympic medalist Austin Krajicek named founding member of alphabeats Performance Collective

alphabeats, a leader in mental performance for athletes, today announced Olympic silver medalist and Grand Slam champion Austin Krajicek as the founding member of its newly launched Performance Collective. The company recently announced the Collective at CES, along with its goal of gathering leaders across industries to advance and elevate the category of mental performance training.

Krajicek, who captured silver in men's doubles tennis at the 2024 Paris Olympics and won the 2023 French Open championship, has been an advocate of alphabeats' technology since he first adopted it last year. It was part of his training regimen leading up to the Olympics, and remains central to his training routine as he continues competing at the highest levels of professional tennis.

"Mental performance is absolutely crucial in tennis, where the margins are so small and you're alone with your thoughts between points," said Krajicek. "alphabeats has given me both greater awareness of my mental state and a new tool to navigate the highs and lows of elite competition. It's about being able to reset and refocus quickly, no matter what."

A standout collegiate player at Texas A&M before turning professional in 2011, Krajicek has achieved career-high rankings of World No. 1 in doubles. His experience across all levels of competition provides unique insight into the mental demands athletes face throughout their careers.

"The voice of the athlete has always been core to what we do at alphabeats," said Jorrit DeVries, CEO of alphabeats. "Austin brings not just his experience as an elite competitor, but also his understanding of the complete performance ecosystem. His insights will help us build an experience that truly serves the athlete."

The alphabeats Performance Collective unites leaders across sports, science, and business to shape the future of mental performance training. This multidisciplinary group includes athletes, coaches, sports scientists, mental performance specialists, and other experts who understand what it takes to achieve excellence at the highest level. Additional founding members will be announced in the coming months.
